Washburn Guitars Sponsors Midwest Music Showcase

Chicago, IL – July 8, 2005 – Washburn Guitars will sponsor the 2005 Midwest Music Summit held in conjunction with the NAMM Summer Session July 21-23 in Indianapolis. The Midwest Music Summit is Indianapolis’ premier musical event. The Summit will be held in 36 different venues and will showcase more than 400 emerging bands representing various genres.

Thousands of music industry professionals take part in the Midwest Music Summit. Bands will be playing non-stop throughout the 36 venues on all three days . The event also hosts industry panels on Friday and Saturday. These panels present an opportunity for emerging musicians to be educated by various industry professionals on popular topics. Following each panel, attendees have the opportunity to hand deliver promo and music materials as well as interact with guest speakers. Kevin Lello will represent U.S. Music Corporation for the “What Manufacturer’s Look For” panel held on Saturday, June 23rd at 1:30 in Indianapolis convention hall.
