Chicago, IL- May 2006- Washburn Guitars recently welcomed the addition of Matisyahu's guitarist Aaron Dugan. The band currently has a Gold Album with their live release "Live at Stubbs" and is having tremendous success with their first studio release "Youth."

Matisyahu guitarist Aaron Dugan.During the 1st week of its release "Youth" garnered the best opening sales for a reggae album since Nielsen SoundScan began tracking data in 1991. Matisyahu's first studio album "Youth", blends a unique style of Hasidic Reggae, and debuted at No. 4 with 119,000 copies.

Aaron Dugan is playing Washburn's D82SW, a F52SW, and a Custom Damen Idol.

Dugan comments on his new guitars. "People come up to me and ask me what kind of guitar it is. I tell them it's a Washburn and they're very surprised because most people think of Washburn as a heavy metal guitar company. They first comment on the beautiful tone and how good it looks, then I tell them what kind of guitar it is...".

Dugan will be featured with his Washburn Damen Idol in an upcoming issue of Guitar World CD ROM and on Guitar World's Comcast On Demand.
