John Stover is the USA acoustic luthier, and builds all acoustics from start to finish.   John was originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin and has been working for Washburn for 6 years.  John attended Roberto Venn school in Arizona for guitar building.  He has been playing guitar for 15 years and when asked what John likes most about his job, he replied “I like working with wood, taking it from raw lumber to an actual musical instrument with its own voice.”  John has built acoustics for such artists as Dolly Parton, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Kiyanu Kim of Gwen Stefani, Pete Thorn of Jewel and Courtney Love, Candice Alley, Dan Donegan of Disturbed and many more.
